Our client is also seeking a Senior Manager of Data Center Development to execute on-site strategy and bring complex data center projects to life. You’ll be the operational engine behind planning and delivery, driving everything from site due diligence and permitting to vendor coordination and construction oversight.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on project leader who thrives in the details but also understands the broader business and energy context of hyperscale development.

What You’ll Do

• Manage end-to-end project execution, including site assessments, power availability, and risk analysis.

• Coordinate engineering teams to ensure designs meet capacity, reliability, and sustainability targets.

• Oversee third-party consultants and contractors to ensure timeline, budget, and quality objectives are met.

• Navigate permitting and approvals, addressing zoning, environmental, and community considerations.

• Track KPIs and identify potential risks or delays, escalating issues when needed.

• Support the Director of Development in refining processes and benchmarking against market best practices.

What You Bring

• 7+ years of experience in data center or energy infrastructure development.

• Knowledge of data center design, power systems (including substations and backup), and advanced cooling technologies.

• Familiarity with energy procurement and utility rate structures.

• Strong project management skills with exposure to Agile or Waterfall methodologies (PMP a plus).

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
