• Explain design tradeoffs and advise customers on cost, losses, reliability, and delivery schedules.
• Support RFP/RFQ processes and contribute to commercial strategy.
• Build strong relationships across customer engineering and procurement teams.
• Manage technical clarifications and customer questions throughout the bid cycle.
• Collaborate closely with global engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing teams.
• Support U.S. product qualification, type testing, and new product introductions.

• Seven or more years of experience with HV and MV power transformers.
• Background in applications engineering, design engineering, or technical sales.
• Strong understanding of U.S. utility requirements and developer expectations.
• Ability to interpret IEEE and ANSI standards and apply them to real projects.
• Hands-on familiarity with transformer components, cooling classes, impedances, monitoring systems, and testing requirements.
• Ability to read one-lines and equipment schedules and convert them into complete proposals.
• Experience supporting bids for utilities, IPPs, and EPCs.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with global engineering and manufacturing resources.
• Desire to operate with speed, make decisions, and have visible impact.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering preferred.
Why This Role
• Contribute directly to solving one of the most pressing challenges in the U.S. grid: transformer supply and delivery.
• Join a high-growth team focused on transforming the power-equipment landscape.
• Gain meaningful ownership and influence in product, market, and commercial decisions.
• Work with a global team and see the immediate impact of your contributions.
