Lars Gloessner

I lead root/edge, an executive search firm built specifically for Clean Energy and Infrastructure leadership and technical search. Over the past 20+ years, 15 of which I’ve spent working specifically in energy, power, and infrastructure, I’ve led recruitment teams at two global search firms and one U.S. recruitment company before founding root/edge.

I work with businesses building the future through the energy transition and digital transformation, placing leaders across power generation, transmission & distribution, renewables, RNG, and data center infrastructure. I believe in a practical, people-first approach to leadership search, built on real relationships and sector depth rather than volume.
